2024 Grantees Announced by the Barbara McDowell Foundation
The Barbara McDowell and Gerald S. Hartman Foundation has selected the five following organizations for 2024 grants, each receiving an award of $25,000:
The grantees were selected after a rigorous review process conducted by the Foundation’s Advisory Committee, Grant Committee, and Board of Directors.
The Foundation’s 2024 grants are funding cases aimed at correcting injustices in the following issue areas:
· Children’s Rights
· Disability Rights
· Discrimination
· Due Process
· Healthcare
· Refugee and Immigrant Rights
· Prisoners’ Rights
The Foundation received this year 66 applications from very worth organizations. The Foundation’s Board of Directors faced a very difficult task in making its decision to award five grants in the amount of $25,000 each for a total of $125,000.
